DalesBus Guided Walks

On most Sundays throughout the year, experienced walk leaders from Friends of DalesBus provide a choice of carefully planned DalesBus guided walks, all timed to fit in with specific DalesBus services from the major conurbations. The walks are designed to introduce bus users to the freedom and flexibility of what are in most cases linear or point to point walks. Sometimes we take sections of well-established waymarked paths such as the Dales Way, Pennine Way or Nidderdale Way along or above the dale, or use other public rights of way or access land to enjoy fine cross-dale routes with often spectacular views, almost invariably ending at a pub or café before the return bus. Everyone is welcome, but for reasons of safety with groups when crossing fields with cattle, no dogs can be permitted on DalesBus walks.
